J. Edward Hodgkin (1875-1953) was an engineer and noted artist, whose watercolour landscapes are still circulating at auction. A biography of his life up to 1911 was published in the old scholars magazine of Leighton Park school when he was elected to the Presidency of the Old Leightonians’ Club. He was clerk of the War and Social Order Committee during the preparation and presentation of the “Foundations”. Later, he chaired the All-Friends Conference, an international gathering of Quakers held in London in 1920.
