Marian Ellis

Marian E. Ellis (later known as Baroness Parmoor, following her marriage to Charles Alfred Cripps, the first Baron Parmoor) lived from 1878 to 1952. She was the twin sister of Edith Ellis, a keen peacemaker and founder of the Edith M Ellis Charitable Trust. Marian was an active member of the War and Social Order Committee, reporting to them on matters such as the Leeds Peace Conference of 1917.
